I will be announcing Fall Mini Sessions on Monday!
Previous clients will get first dibs on Monday. I will open up scheduling to new clients for any remaining spots on Tuesday. Stay tuned!
As always, shoot me an email if you are interested in setting up your own session! :)
When Christine emailed me, stating that she would have all five of her grandbabies in one place and wanted to have a photo session with them, I had to work with her! Her love and admiration for her grandchildren seeped out of her emails! It was clear that she was the epitome of "proud grandma"!
And then when I saw her and her hubby in person, it was even more clear to me. These children are loved and cherished! I made it my goal to capture that pure love for their grandbabies!
There were so many good ones, but enjoy just a few of my favorites!
Christine requested that we choose a location in Collierville, and I had been wanting to shoot at the new(ish) Hinton Park, so that's where we planned it! I usually prefer evening sessions at sunset, but with the excessive heat warnings that we had that week, we rescheduled for a morning session. As much as I love sunset sessions, these still turned out beautifully, and I really feel like you can see their love, which is more important than anything!
Of course we had to get some sweet photos of Gigi and Papa!
And if you have your photo session right next to a playground, when you're finished, you get to PLAY!!!
You guys, this was such a fun session! So much love and laughter. Moments with their sweet grandbabies that I hope they will cherish forever!
If you are interested in scheduling your own photo session, please email me! I'd love to chat!
When P's sweet mama emailed me asking to schedule her newborn session, I squealed! You see, I photographed her big brother's newborn session 2 years ago! And now I was getting to photograph baby sister! I seriously could not love my job any more!
And look at this sweet toddler that big brother has grown into!
He showed me all his toys. His favorite was his new garbage truck that Baby Sister gave him for being such a sweet big brother!
Brace yourselves. These next photos of Big Brother cuddling with his brand new baby sister are to die for!! I cannot get over how adorable these are!
Well, hello Bright Eyes!
I know we all love those sleepy baby newborn photos, and I do too! But there is also something so sweet and magical about seeing baby's big bright eyes. So full of wonder.
And she finally fell asleep, so I was able to pose her a bit more. :)
Oh, Kristen. Motherhood looks good on you!
Already such a Daddy's girl!
Thank you for scrolling through Baby P's newborn session with me! I hope you enjoyed it!
Please contact me if you are expecting! I would love to do your newborn photos also!
From Elizabeth's first email to me, I just knew I wanted to work with her and Sam. Her kind-hearted spirit was that evident, even through email. Their engagement session was my first session, coming back from maternity leave. And what a great session to start with! The love these two have for each other made my job SO MUCH FUN! I love photographing couples in love, and these two hit it out of the park! I seriously cannot wait to photograph their wedding!
Elizabeth and Sam met each other at Ole Miss, where they both attend school, so we just had to do their engagement session in Oxford, MS. We started out the session at Rowan Oak, the historical home of William Faulkner, and finished up at the Ole Miss campus.
The weather forecast wasn't looking too promising for the day of our session, and we had a tiny window of opportunity for the session to actually take place in Oxford. It was supposed to be thunder storming and flash flooding all day long. Elizabeth and I watched it closely, and decided to play it by ear the day of. As the day went on, the rain chance was pushed further and further back, giving us hope! We decided to go for it, so I packed up the car and headed toward Oxford! I drove through a little stormy weather on the way, making me a little nervous, but she texted and said it was still dry there, so I kept on. To say we lucked out with the weather is an understatement! It wasn't until the final few minutes of our session, as we were finishing up, that it started to sprinkle on us! These two were just meant to have their Oxford engagement session!
There are so many pictures that I just LOVE from Elizabeth and Sam's engagement session! I think they turned out so beautifully; I hope you enjoy them too!
It wasn't until these last few shots, that it started to sprinkle. We were finishing up anyway, since we had already soaked up every last little bit of sunlight.
You guys! 2016 was a great year! As it came to a close, I was proud of all that I had accomplished. And then this happened! And I could not be more thrilled! I am so honored! I opened up my email this morning to find that I'd been awarded with WeddingWire's 2017 Couples' Choice Award!

You guys are the best!
Here's to an even better 2017! Thank you!
I can't believe I haven't posted Emily & Sam's engagement session yet! (Well, yes I can. We all know how terrible I am at consistently blogging.) Their big day is this coming Saturday, so I figured this would be the perfect time to share some of my favorites from their engagements!
From the moment I met these two, it was so clear to me how very much in love they were, and I just knew that would permeate through their photographs. And boy was I right! The evening of their engagement session came, and I had butterflies! During the entire session, I was giddy! I knew they were going to be gorgeous photos! Here are just a few of my favorites!
Make sure to follow me on facebook, to see their wedding sneak peeks! I just can't wait to see Emily as a bride!
Now only 4 more days until I get to photograph their wedding at The Quonset!!! :) :) :)
Krystal and Brian are beautiful people. Inside and out. I have loved so much, working with them, and getting to know them. They are such special people, and it is so clear that they were made for each other. What an honor it has been, to be chosen as their wedding photographer. To capture the essence of their relationship, as they start this exciting new chapter as husband and wife!
Krystal and Brian were married on April 30 at Bellevue Baptist Church. The ceremony and reception were scheduled to be held in the beautiful little courtyard, as long as the rain held off. According to the forecast, it was supposed to be raining. Luckily, there were a few sprinkles that morning that didn't last long, allowing Krystal to have her dream wedding.
One thing I love about weddings are all of the little details that make up the entire day. Every bride's details are so unique from each other, showing off their individual styles and personalities.
Krystal's dress was to die for! So so elegant!
I always love photographing the bride getting ready. So much anticipation building up before going to become a wife!
And there are the guys getting ready. The difference always makes me laugh!
I always ask my brides to make sure they tell me if anything important is going to happen that I need to be aware of throughout the day. Krystal didn't have many special requests, but she did have this one. The minister was going to pray with the guys and the girls, separately, prior to the ceremony. She wanted this photographed. It is moments like these that make me step back and realize just how important my job is. It is such an honor to be a part of these emotional moments.
Not all of my brides want to do a first look, and that is ok! Krystal and Brian didn't want to see each other until she came walking down the aisle to him. But they did want to exchange letters and pray together. Such sweet moments. I love love love being able to capture these tender moments!
The girls all looked so pretty! I loved their dresses! It's always fun to step outside of the box from time to time.
I know I sound like a broken record.... But I seriously do get the prettiest brides!! I just LOVE being a wedding photographer!
And my grooms are pretty darn handsome too!
I present to you, Mr. and Mrs. Brian Henson!
One of my favorites EVER.....
I told you they were made for each other!!!!
Krystal and Brian, I wish you two a lifetime of love and happiness!!! Thank you for choosing me as your wedding photographer! <3

When I fist met with Tavy and Chris, I knew I wanted to work with them, immediately! They are so chill and laid back. And funny! These two are constantly joking with each other, making each other laugh. I love that! I have really enjoyed working with them and getting to know them. They really have such a cool energy.
When I first met with Tavy and Chris, they were in the process of moving to Nashville! They planned their Memphis Zoo wedding, all from Nashville. All while starting new jobs, buying a new house, starting everything over in a new city! You would never have known it, because their wedding day went off without a hitch! Everything was so perfect! Down to every little detail. I am so grateful that they chose me as their wedding photographer!
Tavy knew I'd hang her beautiful wedding dress for the typical dress shots, so her mom brought along one of Tavy's baby dresses to be photographed too. How sweet!
Tavy and Chris had such a FUN wedding party!
The lace around the stems of her bouquet came off of the sleeve of her mother's wedding dress!
The salad presentation was on point!
Tavy expressed to me that their reception was to be a big party! And it was an amazing one! Lots of fun was had, celebrating these two!

When I first started photographing weddings, I never realized how emotionally invested in each wedding, I would become. Emotionally invested in each client. Well, let's be honest. They are so much more than just clients to me. They have invited me to be a part of the most important day of their lives. And it's a pretty important part, I must say! Their memories of their special day lie on my shoulders. That's a huge responsibility. But at the same time, it's pretty cool! It allows me to get to really know them. It allows me a chance to learn to love them. I get to see their raw emotions. I am with them during the tears and the laughter. The nerves and the anxiety. But you know what? I am laughing WITH them. I am crying WITH them. I am feeling all the feels WITH them. That's pretty cool. Pretty darn cool that I am invited into the most intimate moments of the most intimate day of their lives...
Katelyn and Mark were married on October 3, 2015 at The Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception. Katelyn had expressed to me how gorgeous the cathedral was, and how her dream wedding was always in a beautiful cathedral. Immaculate Conception did not disappoint! It is one that will take your breath away! I would say that she got her dream!
The details! You know I love those!! Every bride's details are so unique and specific to her style and personality! Katie's details were so classic and elegant.
Do you see that single little cloth rose, mixed into Katie's bouquet?! He mother had that made from Katie's baby blanket!! Those little touches get to me every time!
The final touches!
When I asked Katie and Mark if they wanted to do a "first look", Mark was quick to tell me "no". He didn't want to see Katie, until she came walking down that aisle to join him for life. Katie did request they share a moment though, and exchange love letters. Katie had been expressing to Mark how much she wanted him in his Dress Blues for some of their pictures, so he thought the perfect time to have them on for pictures was when she couldn't see him! He wanted to give her her wish, but as a surprise! Is that not sweetest thing you've ever heard?! And do you see all of those metals on his chest? He held his hand over them to keep them from jingling, while he walked up to meet her. As he handed her the letter he'd written, and when they held hands afterwards, he even pulled his sleeve up, so she couldn't tell which jacket he had on! I would be lying if I told you I was not in tears over this gesture! Every girl deserves that caring thoughtfulness! And I am so honored to have been able to capture this sweet, intimate moment for them!
Immediately following the beautiful ceremony, was a butterfly release. This was a surprise for Katie's dad. He calls her his butterfly. SO SWEET!!
I'd say it was a pretty special surprise!
Before we headed to the reception, we stopped over at the Formal Gardens of Overton Park for Katie & Mark's portraits together.
Katie made such a beautiful bride!
And Mark looked pretty handsome himself!
We wrapped up the night at the adorable Chimes and Occasions in Mid-town, for their reception, where all of their closest family and friends were waiting to celebrate with them!
I adored this little patio at Chimes and Occasions!
What a fun Bridal Party!
Congratulations, Katie and Mark!! I wish you nothing but a lifetime full of love and happiness! I am forever grateful that you trusted me as your wedding photographer with your very special wedding day!
"Oh to be young and in love...."
Chelsea and Marc are the definition of "head over heels in love". Watching them together gave me butterflies in my stomach! They are so sweet! So kind! So genuine! So considerate! And you can tell they are the best of friends! They had so many inside jokes, and they laughed and laughed with each other. Such a beautiful, fun, loving couple!
Chelsea's parents live on some land and were generous enough to allow us to shoot their engagement session there. I'm not going to lie. I was a tad nervous, pulling up to shoot a session, without ever having seen the location yet. But, HOLY MOLY!!! Talk about gorgeous! And these people have been hoarding all the magical sunlight! ;)
When we first met, Chelsea mentioned wanted to carve their initials in a tree. But for the sake of not harming a tree (which I was so pleased about!), her dad helped her make this adorable little wooden heart! I just loved this added personal touch!
See what I mean?!?! That light! It just takes my breath away!
I am so glad that Chelsea and Marc chose me as their wedding photographer! Their April wedding can't come quick enough! I just know Chelsea will make such a beautiful bride!
If you are still shopping for your wedding photographer, I would love to be considered!
I would love to talk with you about scheduling your own photo session!
