 When Shelby first emailed me to get my wedding photography prices, she included in her email that her grandmother was going to be her flower girl! I knew right then and there that I had to shoot her wedding! I thought that was the sweetest thing I'd ever heard, and I was a bit (ok, a lot) jealous that I hadn't thought of it myself, 12 years ago! My grandmother is literally my favorite person in the world, and I just absolutely love this idea! Another exciting detail about their wedding, is that the best man is Shelby and Adam's 5 year old son! And he's a cutie too! Shelby and Adam are getting married at the Fayette Market Company in Somerville. I've never shot there, and am always excited to add a new wedding venue to my repertoire. We shot their engagement session in September, and we had such beautiful weather. We started the session out in a sun-drenched field off the side of the road, and then drove over and hiked down to the Wolf River to finish up, where we had the most perfect golden light. Shelby and Adam have been together for 10 years, and it showed in their comfortability with one another. I really enjoyed my time with them and can't wait to celebrate them again in March at their wedding!
